Unfortunately, we were unable to attend the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton in England last week. Although we certainly felt like we were present at the historical event as we celebrated in style at the Royal Wedding at Piedmont Park. We watched the sunrise ceremony as we sipped champagne and tea, ate a British breakfast, and wore our biggest most fashionable hats. We “oohed” and “aahed” at our favorite moments as we watched Kate calmly arrive in her Sara Buxton designed wedding gown, the couple drive away in their “JU5T WED” Aston Martin convertible, and kiss not once but twice on the palace balcony.
From what we hear, the Queen loves the color yellow so we collaborated with a few of our vendors to create the perfect table for a summer rehearsal dinner or reception. The Atlanta Wedding Loft featured a black and white table with a burst of yellow flowers inspired by Tulip. The menus, paper, and creative wine labels were designed by the talented Praxium Press. The center of our sunny table is Frosted Pumpkin’s modern black and white detailed fondant cake.

Surrounding our perfect-for-summer table, Geri Sims draped her sheer fabric to transform our tent space into our very own little venue. After all the wedding excitement, guests were thankful for the lounge furniture provided by Peachtree Tents and Events to take a seat, relax for a moment, and look at The Decisive Moment wedding photography. Faith Flowers accentuated our lounge furniture with exotic green tropical flowers to add to our summer-esque wedding display.
Hungry guests were able to nibble on Sun In My Belly’s scones, pastries, brie, fruit and more when they needed a few bites of their own British breakfast. Lastly, guests had to jump into the WOW Photo booth to document the monumental day we all experienced. It was truly a wedding you don’t want to forget!
